In October 2018, I headed over to New Zealand for a month of solo travelling with the intention to tramp as much as possible. It was the perfect opportunity to give Macpac’s Sololight 1-person tramping tent a solid whirl…

The Client

Macpac is an originally New Zealand outdoors brand that is now Aussie-owned. It has been a major sponsor of the NZ Alpine team since 2013.

The Brief

The objective of our collaboration was to showcase Macpac gear in action in the outdoors.

GEAR REVIEW

A serious perk of my role as She Went Wild’s Marketing + Events Coordinator means that I have access to an audience of over 45,000 adventure-loving women across Australia, New Zealand the UK.

My gear review on the tent was posted on the She Went Wild blog and shared across Instagram, Facebook and our fortnightly newsletter which is sent to over 5,100 subscribers with an open rate of over 32%.

5-10 high quality images of the gear in action were delivered to Macpac throughout my trip. Usage rights included all digital uses.

SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

@macpac was mentioned and tagged in all relevant posts and Stories on my personal Instagram as well as @shewentwild.co’s Instagram.

By ‘relevant’, Macpac gear had to be depicted in adventure settings rather than just outdoors and travel.
