There is so much that I love about hitting the trail. The plethora of hikes around Queenstown and in New Zealand in general was a big factor in my decision to move to the land of the long white cloud. This log is for retrospection and inspiration.

Queenstown is the only place that has me somehow feeling a simultaneous ‘low’ of feeling grounded and at ease and ‘high’ of feeling always inspired and fulfilled. It’s a state I have always sought and now I get to be in it, day in and day out.

My third week was spent primarily hiking the Routeburn + Caples Tracks, during which I did A LOT OF THINKING. Like the most thinking I have probably ever done in my life and that is saying something, because I am one of the deepest and widest thinkers that you’ll ever meet…so for week 3, come on into my crazy mind…
